Peterhead Academy Base pupils held a fundraising stall in aid of the Step Up for Dylan campaign on Thursday, January 30.

Handmade bracelets, toffee and homebakes were on sale with every penny going to help fund a life-changing operation for local boy Dylan Parsons.

Dylan’s mum Jenna was there to lend a hand and said: “I can’t believe how much work has been put into this and I would like to say thank you to everyone involved for helping out.”

Pupils decided to hold the stall and started making bracelets two months before hand, something they had really enjoyed doing.

The total raised was £300.
