Pupils from schools across Buchan were on hand to launch this year’s Lets Grow campaign at Morrisons Peterhead recently.

Morrisons Community Champion, Sheena Irvine, welcomed Rebecca Irvine from Longside Primary, Ellie Forsyth from Kininmonth Primary and Aurora MacGregor from Clerkhill Primary to the store to kick off the scheme.

Since the beginning of Let’s Grow back in 2008 Morrisons has given away over £18.5 million worth of gardening equipment and seeds to over 31,000 schools across the UK .

Customers collect one Morrisons Let’s Grow voucher at the checkouts with every £10 they spend in store.

New for this year, Scout and girl guiding groups can register to start collecting vouchers to redeem against Let’s Grow gardening equipment.

Morrisons Peterhead’s Lets Grow campaign will run in store from Monday, August 18 until Sunday, October 26.

Any local school or group that would like a tour of the store or receive an educational visit to their school or group can contact Sheena Irvine on 01779 490987.
