Packed theatre enjoys music of Gospel band Canton Junction

A PACKED Peterhead Community Theatre enjoyed the music of Canton Junction last week.

The band is the much-celebrated quartet from the U.S. comprising Matthew Hagee, Aaron Crabb, Tim Duncan and Michael Sykes.

As individuals these men have a rich musical history. When they come together, their precision vocals and tight harmonies are spectacular!

On September 14 and 15, Canton Junction performed live at the Peterhead Theatre in front of more than 500 people who were blessed by the inspiring lyrics.

Matthew Hagee is well-known as a sixth-generation pastor in San Antonio, TX and on Sunday morning, September 16, he spoke at the town’s Zion Christian Life Center with Pastor Sam Cameron.

The powerful message that Pastor Matthew delivered was centered around Ezekiel as he walked through the valley of the Lord and asks if the dry bones in front of him can live again.

The point is, if your life is filled with regret and you are looking to re-discover joy unspeakable, you can find hope in Jesus Christ.

Not only did the crowds receive Pastor Matthew, Pastor Sam Cameron and Canton Junction, but the members of Canton Junction went back to the States filled with great encouragement over the warm reception they received in Scotland.

Their visit to the North East of Scotland is something that this group of Americans will never forget.

They are thankful to the Scottish who attended both concerts and to the amazing hospitality that was show by Zion Christian Life Center during the teams visit to Peterhead.

Commenting on his trip, Mr Hagee said: “The people of Scotland are dear to our hearts. The Cameron family and the Zion Tabernacle are counted among our great friends and it is an honor to be able to come here and encourage this community with the Good News of the gospel.”
