Man in court over thefts
A 37-year-old man has been charged in connection with the theft of a sat-nav system worth a low three figure value from an insecure vehicle and three further intended thefts from vehicles duriong January in the Peterhead area.
The man appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday last week.
Constable Daniel Thomson said: “We strongly urge members of the public to ensure that their vehicles and properties are locked, as this simple safety measure is often the most effective way of deterring opportunistic sneak-in thefts.”
