Peterhead Methodist Church Sisterhood will meet on Wednesday, February 5, at 7.15pm when a programme will be given by the Kedron Choir. All ladies are welcome.

Peterhead St. Andrew’s Parish Church Guild will meet on Wednesday, February 5, at 7.30pm when the guest speaker is to be the Rev. Isobel Akers, minister of Peterhead Methodist Church.

Peterhead Congregational Church Ladies’ Guild is having a Buttery Morning on Saturday, February 8.

On Sunday, February 9, there is a change to the morning worship arrangements as far as Peterhead Old Parish Church is concerned. It has been intimated there is to be a United Service in Trinity Church on February 9.

Peterhead Fishermen’s Mission has its Nightcap Service on Sunday, February 9, at 8pm with community singing prior to that at 7.45pm. The guest for the evening is James Cardno.

The Mission Ladies’ Guild will meet next on Tuesday, February 18, at 7.15pm when Robbie Dixon is to be the guest speaker.

A reminder is given from Cruden Parish Church that on Thursday, February 13, a meeting is being held in the church hall at 7.30pm to plan the next series of church walks. All are welcome.

Peterhead Old Parish Church Senior Ladies’ Fellowship will meet in the upstairs hall on Monday, February 10, at 2pm. The guest speaker is to be Superintendent Stephen Murray of the local Fishermen’s Mission.

On Thursday, February 13, the Blythswood collecting vehicle is due to be visiting this area to uplift items donated to help the charity in its extensive work and all such gifts will be received most gratefully.

The vehicle is to be in Peterhead that day from 9.30am to 11.30am and in Fraserburgh from 1pm to 3pm.

On Sunday, February 9, in Old Deer Church, morning worship at 10.30am will be led by the Rev. Sheila Kirk. Children’s Church meets as usual during the service. Teas and fellowship will follow afterwards.

Then later at 4pm in Fetterangus Church, a service will be led by the Rev. Sheila Kirk. The theme will be “Hymns of Fanny Crosby”. Teas will be served afterwards.
