Auchnagatt top in Rotary quiz

PUPILS from Auchnagatt School have triumphed in the opening round of the Central Buchan Rotary School Quiz.

The first round was held at Mintlaw Indoor Bowling Club on Thursday night with 18 teams vying for a place in the next round.

There was a large crowd of supportive parents, children and teachers attending, and after a keenly-contested contest Auchnagatt emerged victorious with Stuartfield B securing the runners-up spot.

MC for the evening was Shirley Hutchison with Derek Jennings as scoremaster - both of Central Buchan Rotary which would like to thank everyone for attending.
