Attempted car break-ins at Buchanhaven

Grampian Police are investigating several break-ins to cars in the Buchanhaven and town centre areas of Peterhead.

The three incidents occurred overnight between Thursday and Friday last week in Skene Street and St. Mary Street, Peterhead.

Although no items were taken during the incidents, damage worth a low three-figure sum was caused.

Investigating Officer Constable Martin Coyle said: “Members of the public are reminded not to leave valuables within their cars at any time and to ensure that their cars are secure at all times.”
