Buchan children once again enjoyed a fun-filled summer thanks to a popular Peterhead kids club.

St Andrew’s, the Old Parish and Trinity churches in Peterhead and St Fergus Church, along with the Salvation Army held a free holiday club for all primary school aged children.

The summer club ran from July 7-11 and all the children and their parents were invited to a family picnic at Aden Country Park on Saturday, July 12.

The club this year had the title ‘Fit for a King’ which has a Commonwealth Games theme.

The aim was to create a fun programme where children felt welcomed and valued.

The club will featured a host of popular games, stories, singing, movie clips, craft and much more.

Organisers also organised a morning of free football coaching and sport activities as the guests of Peterhead Football Club.
