A fond farewell to Abi, Elisee and family

The Rev Dr Abi Ngunga of St Andrew's Church, Peterhead

The Rev Dr Abi Ngunga of St Andrew's Church, Peterhead

The minister of St Andrew’s Church, Peterhead is leaving in August to take up a new position as the new minister of Newton Wallacetown Church in Ayr.

Rev Dr Abi T Ngunga has been a very popular minister and many will miss his friendly personality and his God given gifts as a preacher and teacher.

Everyone at St Andrew’s Church are disappointed to see him go but wish Abi, wife Elisee and his family, God’s blessing for their new ministry in Ayr.

To celebrate Abi’s three and a half years at St Andrew’s, the church will host a Songs of Praise evening.

The event will be held at the church on Friday, August 1 at 7.30pm and everyone at St Andrew’s hopes that many people in the town will come and join them as they give thanks to God for Abi’s ministry and to wish Abi, Elisee and family God’s blessing for the future and all that the Lord has in store for them.

The collection taken at the Songs of Praise evening will be gifted to Abi and his family.

All are welcome to a varied programme with congregational singing and there will be tea, coffee and ‘fine pieces’ served afterwards.
