Latest tea dance is another huge success

Dozens of Peterhead residents enjoyed the Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club tea dance.

The annual tea dance organised by Wilma Duffus and Allandale House in Peterhead, was held at Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club recently.

Among the groups attending were Allandale House, Alzheimer’s Scotland, Kingscliff Day Centre, Willowbank Day Centre and the CPN team.

Wilma Duffus said: “Previous tea dances have been a huge success, an opportunity for folk to have a cup of tea, fine piece and a dance.

“It’s great to see everyone socialise with each other.”

Special thanks were paid to Beryl Willox and family for their donation to the tea dance.

Wilma also paid thanks to Heather and Helen fom Kings Cliff Day Centre, Bill and Alistair for the music, and Jenny and all the staff at Buchanhaven Hearts Club for laying on the spread.

The tea dance was held as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
