The day centre is open five days per week, with up to 16 service users attending each day.

Helen Noble and Heather Dorish are Day Care Organisers at the facility. Commenting, Helen said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed having the youngsters to visit. Today has went extremely well.

“It’s nice for young and older people to spend time together,” she added.

Heather added: “The children often come at Christmas to sing. Today has been a great success. We are always on the look out for new volunteers,” she added.

Jess Cardno, who is one of the service users at Kingscliff, said: “It’s really nice to see the kids from the nursery. They are all very well behaved.”
