A special information open day event will be held at The Hot Spot on Peterhead’s Kirk Street later this month.
The event will be held by the Hot Spot Connections group, which represents users of the Hot Spot.
The open day will be held on Thursday, May 29 from 10am until 3pm.
Martin Price of the Hot Spot Connections group explained: “A lot of people use the Hot Spot and speak highly of it which is fantastic, but a lot of people don’t know if they can use it and there are some misconceptions about it.
“The open day aims to encourage people to come through the doors and realise that everyone can use it for club and group meetings, or even if they just want a cup of tea.”
Representatives from various local groups including CLAN, NHS Health Point, Job Club, Literacy Group and the Knitting Group will be on hand to offer information about joining up as well as showcasing what they do.
New clubs and groups are also welcome.
Fresh homemade food prepared at the Hot Spot will be available throughout the day.
