Residents at Peterhead’s Grangepark Care Home were treated to another fun-filled Holiday Week recently.
The special week of activities took place from Monday, August 11 to Sunday, August 17.
Residents celebrated a different country each day starting with Egypt on Monday followed by Germany on Tuesday, Hawaii on Wednesday, Ireland on Thursday, Algeria on Friday and Australia on Saturday.
Residents marked the endof the Holiday Week with their feet up on Sunday.
There was plenty of entertainment provided throughout the week including a mystery bus run and visits from belly dancers, owls and birds from The Owl and Pussycat Centre, Bill Black, 2 Sum, Jim and Marisha, and even Elvis!
Family and friends went along for a special evening to celebrate the holidays with their loved ones.
Residents also took part in German food tasting, a Hawaiian Treasure Hunt and a fun prize bingo.
Staff at Grangepark said: “We would like to thank local businesses for sponsoring the Holiday Week and for helping to make it possible.
They added: “Everyone has had a ball, the weather may have been against us but that hasn’t stopped the residents from enjoying themselves.”
