A holiday club was held in New Deer last week for primary school age children.

The week of activities was held at St Kane’s Church between 10.00am and 12.00noon each morning last week.

The club’s activities were focussed on biblical stories and the theme for the week was Old MacDonald’s Farm. Each morning a wide range of arts and crafts activities was on offer, inlcluding face painting, jewellery making, play dough and mask making.

Commenting, Andy Burns of Urban Impact Christian Ministries said: “It is going very well. A lot of children from the area have come along. They are working hard and enjoying it.

“We have a wide range of people, from youngsters to the elderly, getting involved with the club,” he added.
