Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a David Bailey behind th camera?
Well if you do, then a super new competition may interest you.
The Buchan Heritage Society is to introduce something different to its usual programme of activities this year.
In its inaugural photographic competition folk across Buchan are being invited to submit a photograph depicting “Buchan at its Bonniest”
Photographic entries must be no bigger than A4 (12x8).
They may be mounted if you wish and a digital image should also be sent to the address below.
The photograph must be your own work and previously unpublishe.
The winning photographs will be published int the heritage society’s magazine Heirskip which will be available in April.
A selection of the photographs entered in the competition will also be on display during the annual Strichen Festival in May 2015.
The winning photographer will be awarded a £50 prize - as well as the accolade of having the best shot.
Runner-up in the competition will receive £30 and third place will get £20.
Entry forms are available from the website or some local shops.

Photographs with completed entry forms should be sent to Mrs M. Gordon, Strawberry Bank, Longside, AB42 4UF by the November 30.
