An Aberdeenshire organisation is holding a Peterhead open day in recognition of World Mental Health Day next week.
Thursday October 10 also marks the 10th anniversary of Mental Health Aberdeen (MHA) at Nexus on King Street.
Set to run from 10am to 3pm, information and advice about mental health issues will be available on the day as well as hand massages, raffles, refreshments and nibbles.
MHA is a Aberdeenshire charity which proviees support services to people in the North East with mental health issues. The focus is on promoting positive mental wellbeing.
The open day will be run by staff at Nexus, a community resource centre in Peterhead.
World Mental Health Day is an annual global event which was first celebrated in 1992.
It was established by the World Federation for Mental Health. The organisation works with members in more than 150 countries.
Figures released by the Mental Health Foundation, who work closely with the global event in Scotland, show one in four people experiences some form of mental health problem in the course of a year.
