‘Keep Calm and Start Talking’ is a free event aiming to raise awareness of mental health issues while having some fun.
The organiser has struggled with various mental health issues while a teenager and is now looking to try and give something back by raising awareness and helping people to communicate when it matters most.
The entrance will hold an information stand where information on mental health issues and how to support a loved one will be available.
The main room will host various hands on activities to try, all based around the idea of positive mental health.
The information event is being held at Aberdeen Forward, 2 Poynernook Road, Aberdeen, on October 12 from 10am to 4pm.
