Last week Zoe Leask gave the Rotary Club of Central Buchan members a very informative talk on Lupus.

This uncommon, complex condition can affect any part of the body and can cause many different symptoms.

Zoe explained that some 90% of Lupus patients are female.

It takes an average of seven years to diagnose. www.lupusuk.org.uk)

Central Buchan Rotary recently raised £300 for Lupus UK by organising the premiere of a suite of music composed by Richard Ingham (www.largo-music.co.uk) on the Book of Deer - Scotland’s oldest book.

The premiere was performed in the Great Hall at Crimonmogate with the kind permission of Lord and Lady Petersham.

The sell-out event was organised by Central Buchan Rotary for the Book of Deer Project based in Aden Country Park.
