CAN you help find Jack Russell Isla who was lost on September 6?

Isla was lost whilst being walked at Slains Castle near Cruden Bay and her owners, Mr and Mrs Elmslie are hoping that someone is looking after her whilst she has been missing.

She is quite small, 9 years old and white with brown patches. Her owners describe her as having a very placid nature and loves attention.

“Isla doesn’t have the normal Jack Russell hyper temperament, but has a quiet, almost timid nature,” her owner Walter told us.

“We were walking at Slains Castle on Tuesday September 6 after parking our car at the harbour in Cruden Bay. We walked up over the dunes to the castle and arrived at about 3pm. Isla wasn’t on her lead and was just running around the ruins of the castle with ourselves.

“After several minutes we noticed she wasn’t there, searching everywhere we could, but she was nowhere to be seen.”

Mr and Mrs Elmslie said Isla isn’t the type of dog to go chasing after rabbits or small animals and they think she lost sight of them, panicked and ran off to try and find them.

The couple are hoping that Isla is being taken care of from someone who has took her own, as she is a very friendly dog, who would run to people rather than from them. She was wearing a blue collar and has also been micro-chipped.
