Buchanhaven Harbour Committee will be staging its popular gala on Saturday, July 27.
The event will be held on the harbour front and promises to be a bumper day of fun for all the family.
After a few years absence, the Harbour Committee decided to re-launch the event and this year it will start at 2pm with a range of fun for all ages to enjoy.
Last year saw large crowds turn out as they enjoyed the favourable weather and entertainment provided and the gala team hope the weather will be kind to them again this year.
Boat trips, jet skis, arts and crafts, burgers and seafood will all be on offer along with other entertainment and the team hope the crowds will surpass last years attendance levels.
In addition to the main event, the Buchanhaven Heritage Society will be opening its doors for a general exhibition between 1pm and 4pm, so this year will see it become a village affair and if deemed successful by visitors may become an annual joint event.
Commenting on the event, harbour committee member, George Cameron, said: “We were delighted with the large turnout in 2012 and decided it must become an annual event at that point.
“Preparations are well underway and we hope the crowds will flock to the area and make it an event to remember.
“As with all outside events we are open to the weather, however we hope for a great day’s fun no matter what the elements throw at us and look forward to seeing everyone on the 27th.”
