Peterhead Port Authority held a commemorative tea recently to mark 25 years’ service by two employees.

William Wyllie (port controller working in the Vessel Traffic Services centre) and Douglas Wallace (maintenance engineer) recently reached the milestone.

Port authority chief executive, John Wallace, thanked the pair for their dedication and commitment to the harbour,

Mr Wallace said he recognised the significant changes that have occurred over their period of employment, and how the port has grown and developed to meet the changing needs of its stakeholders.

Mr Wallace was joined at the presentation of gifts to the two men by Peterhead port harbourmaster John Forman and harbour engineer David Buchan.
