Craigewan Photographic Group held its first themed competition of the year recently.

The theme was “Red” with members entering three images of what they perceived as their interpretation of the theme.

It was the ladies who came out on top with two of them finishing joint first with 57 points from a possible 60 points.

Michele Emslie and Dorothy Crawford both start the league in first but will they still be there at the end of the Season?

In joint second was Dave Johnston and Yvonne Miller only a point behind with 56 points.

The judge from Wales was Dennis Russ who commented on the high quality of images.

He gave 20 points to a few images which reflected people’s efforts.

Craigewan Photographic Group’s next theme is Street Photography.

The club now meet at Peterhead Academy on a Tuesday night from 7pm to 9pm.

The Peterhead photography club welcomes all skill levels from beginners to the more serious photographer.
