A leading North-east recruitment firm surprised a local charity with an egg-citing delivery for Easter.

Genesis Personnel, which has offices in Peterhead, completed a good deed this Easter, hand delivering a large package of chocolate eggs and soft toys to children and teenagers at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital for the second year in a row.

The recruitment firm worked on the Easter initiative with clients, candidates, tenants and suppliers and managed to collect more than 500 eggs and toys for the hospital, which is supported by CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people and their families.

CLIC Sargent, which was formed out of a merger of two long-standing children’s charities in 2005, is currently supporting over 30 children in Aberdeen and Grampian who are undergoing treatment.

Sales and recruitment manager at Genesis Personnel, Moira Murawiecka said: “Our staff, clients, candidates, and suppliers were very generous and it was great to see the children’s faces light up when we delivered the Easter goodies.

“As a business, we always like to support local charities and small initiatives like these are very gratifying as we can see how excited and happy the patients are when they receive their parcel.”
