Five local administration trainees have raised over £1870 for The Anthony Nolan Trust as part of their training course.

The trainees held a fundraising quiz night at The Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club on Friday, March 22.

The event was well attended and the girls would like to thank those who generously donated prizes for the raffles.

A special thanks to Ian, who presented the quiz, The Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club for the use of their facilities and to Elaine Buchan and Sheena Kelly, their Administration Instructors, for all their help and patience.

The girls and their friends also took part in a sponsored bike run from Mintlaw to Peterhead raising lots of money which contributed to this great total.

The trainees have just completed three months at Peterhead Engineers Development Ltd where they have all successfully completed their National Certificate in Administration.

They will now take up full-time positions with their employer company to complete their Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in Administration.
