The New Pitsligo Community came together to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday recently.

The pupils of New Pitsligo and St. John’s school planned and prepared the event by sending invitations, making bunting and table decorations and baking treats.

A beautiful cake was designed by P7 pupils and on the day this was cut by Mrs. Joss, Secretary of the New Pitsligo Community Council, who donated a commemorative coin to every child.

Each class gave a short performance from a decade of the Queen’s life.

Those in attendance said it was a lovely event and that it was wonderful to see young children and senior citizens coming together and having fun.
