A Peterhead student has recently celebrated her graduation from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.

Stephanie Daniel (23) graduated with a BA(Hons) 2.1 in Printmaking from the university’s Gray’s School of Art.

Stephanie graduated from the last specialist course in fine art printmaking.

She shared the special occasion with two fellow local lasses, Jade Anderson of Longside, and Ericka Smith of Boddam.

National art critics warmly reviewed their degree show entitled “Open Your Eyes” that was held in June.

Aberdeen businessman and current RGU Chancellor, Sir Ian Wood, addressed everyone at the graduation ceremony for Gray’s School of Art and Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment on Friday, July 18.

Stephanie has been enthused by Gray’s ethos and Sir Ian’s challenge.

She plans to hone her skills by studying for a Masters in Fine Art.

Stephanie specializes in contemporary works on the local environment.

Stephanie is currently developing a website to showcase her work on the back of Sir Ian’s challenge and is looking for like-minded artists to collaborate with.
