BURNHAVEN School pupils were treated to some colourful playground markings last week.
The playground committee hoped to brighten up the playing areas used by the pupils at the school and this has been the first successful project.
A talent show was held recently to help raise funds for the different projects hoped to be achieved by the committee. Headteacher Ann-Louise Murray said: “The playground markings will help to encourage learning out with the classroom and at playtimes.
“There are number lines, alphabets, compasses and clocks, and the playground can now be used at both play times and class times so we can take learning outdoors for the children.”
