Mintlaw Primary School P6/5 pupils, along with Treasure Trails North East, have created a Spy Trail for Mintlaw and Aden Country Park.

Pupils have been busy taking photographs, researching and coming up with clues using signs and features of the local area.

By doing this, they have developed their enterprise, team building and problem solving skills.

The Spy Trail provides the opportunity to spend quality family fun time on a walk outisde, exploring in the fresh air whilst solving a mystery at the same time.

Some pupils said they enjoyed walking round making clues while others enjoyed working in groups to put together the trail.

The trail is 2.5 miles long and takes around two hours to complete, although the simple directions and route can be carried out in your own time.

Simply follow the trail and solve the clues to discover the Spy Trail Code.

If you choose, submit your answer online to be entered into an annual draw to win £1,000.

Spy Trails Booklets can be ordered through Mintlaw Primary School priced £4 each with all profits going towards the school.
