Pupils at Kininmonth Primary School have had a busy time recently.

They had a visit in school from ‘The Owl and The Pussycat Sanctuary’ at Maud. The children were given a talk about a variety of owls and had the opportunity to get their photographs taken with some of the birds, including the owl from The Harry Potter films.

Red Nose Day was action-packed, starting with a sponsored walk/jog in the lane in front of the school, followed by a treasure hunt in the school grounds.

The children dressed in home made fancy dress outfits with spotsand stripes as their theme. Cakes were baked, decorated and eaten.

A Matchbox Challenge was issuedasking for matchboxes to be filled with as many different objects as possible.

A highly entertaining Talent Show was organised among the pupils, with acts such as singers, dancers, comedians, rappers and magicians!

Mega Monster posters were designed by every child with a red nose as their starting point. Prizes were awarded to the winners of each activity. Around £400 was raised on the day, through fun, fitness and fancy dress!
