Pupils from Dales Park School visited Peterhead Library recently to find out more information about their current project, Australia.
Miss Cameron’s P5/6 class went to the library on Monday, March 4 and took park in some fun educational activities.
The class split in two for the first task which involved using online encyclopedias on the library computers as well as a range of fact filled books to help them fill in a question sheet.
The class were then tested on their knowledge by taking part in an Australia-themed quiz.
Assistant teacher Miss Small said: “The pupils don’t come down to the library a lot so this is a chance for them to see all the research methods the library has.
“The visit gets the school involved with the community and the library staff set up all of the quizzes for them today so it has been great.”
