Dales Park School children in the ELCC (nursery) and primary 1 and 1/2 classes have been finding out about owls recently.

They have shared lots of owl stories and learned owl songs and rhymes.

Recently they had a magical visit from The Owl and the Pussycat Centre. It was a hoot!

All the children got the opportunity to meet the owls and see them up close and hold them.

Primary 1/2 children said: “They were cute and lovely. Some were big and some were small and they were funny when they tried to fly.”

Others said: “They were super scary and had sharp claws”.

The children in the morning ELCC class are pictured (above) with a member of the ELCC team holding Tiny the owl.
