Peterhead’s Dales Park School held its annual Christmas Fair recently and a whopping £4,420 was raised!

The event was organised by the PTA and staff who worked hard to ensure there was plenty of fun for all.

The school choir and vocal group entertained the crowds and got everyone into the festive spirit in the hall alongside a variety of stalls selling Christmas gifts including sweetie wreaths designed an dmade by the P5/6 class through their enterprise.

Children were entertained by a photo booth, guest appearances by Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a host of games.

A large number of raffle prizes were donated as well as soup, sweets and homebakes.

The money raised will be split evenly between buying litercy and numeracy resources with a view to raising attainment across the school.

The PTA and staff have extended their thanks to all families, friends and community members of the school who supported the event.
