Banff and Buchan College celebrated the talents of its apprenticeship programme at a presentation evening at the main campus in Fraserburgh recently.
More than 60 apprentices from all disciplines were congratulated on their achievement and the ceremony was attended by family, friends and employers.
Duncan Abernethy, external Affairs Manager Banff and Buchan College, opened the ceremony.
He said: “Although we are a relatively small college, we punch well above our weight as the second largest training provider for Apprentices in Scotland.
“Over the past 40 or 50 years, some 8,500 Apprentices have trained here across many different disciplines.
“We are as committed to the Modern Apprenticeship programme now as we have been at any time in our history and the ambition is to grow our provision in this area – recognising the importance of trained apprentices to our local and national economies.”
