Longside Nursery has been praised for its efforts in helping children to brush their teeth.
Childsmile is a national programme aimed at helping promote the oral health of children and is linked with the Curriculum for excellence.
The nursery was presented with a certificate by Childsmile to knowledge the extra effort they have put in.
A spokesman for Childsmile said: “Longside Nursery were recently presented with a certificate by Childsmile staff to acknowledge the extra effort they have put in with their new tooth brushing routine using the brush bus system currently being rolled out in the area.
“The nursery staff, Mrs Bain and Mrs Park, exceeded the standards expected and show a good example by brushing their own teeth along with the children on a daily basis.”
They also incorporate fun activities into the routine. Childsmile is a national programme to improve the oral health of children in Scotland.
