A trip around the world for Clerkhill audience

Children of the World was the theme of Clerkhill School’s Christmas concert this year.

There were full houses for the performances last week, in which the audience was treated to a world of delightful Christmas music that helped make children aware of some of the different ways Christmas is celebrated around the world.

The story told of Gabriel and the angels celebrating the birth of Jesus by bringing children from around the world to the manger to tell of their Christmas customs and offer gifts to the baby Jesus.

Clerkhill Choir opened the concert before the audience were whisked away to Poland, China, Australia, Malawi, the USA, Ireland, Spain and Palestine.

Everyone who attended expressed their delight at the show and thoroughly enjoyed this year’s concert.
