Party Box took their prehistoric visitors to Clerkhill School in Peterhead recently.

Clerkhill School pupils got up close and personal to some prehistoric visitors recently following a visit from Aberdeen-based firm Party Box.

The company ran a competition just before Chrsitmas to give away a Dinosaur Experience to a local school.

Party Box specialises in children’s themed parties and events.

To win the competition, members of the public had to “like and share” Party Box’s photo on Facebook and then vote for the school that they wanted to receive the prize.

As Clerkhill received the most votes they won the dinosaur experience.

Party Box visited the school at the end of last month, and all classes were able to join in with the day.

Each class had an information session with one of the team members where they learned lots of dinosaur facts. Then they were able to meet a baby triceratops and finally they got to meet Tyrant (the main attraction) who is a huge T-Rex dinosaur.

The children (and staff) had a fantastic time learning about and meeting the dinosaurs and the school are very grateful to Party Box for the experience and to all those people who voted for them.
