Jim Coutts, secretary/treasurer of the ASCO Drivers Dinner Dance Fund, along with Ada Brown donated a cheque for £920 to the ladies of the MacMillan Support Group (Peterhead) at the Palace Hotel, Peterhead, recently.

The money was raised from the sale of Raffles at the annual dinner and dance held at Ban-Car Hotel, Lonmay earlier this year.

Jim and his committee have expressed thanks to all local businesses and friends who donated Raffles towards such a worthy cause. Their support was very much appreciated.

He also thanked all who helped in the sale of raffles on the night and the Palace for their kindness on the night of the presentation. Jim is pictured with Sheenagh Will, Jeannette Barbour and Ada Brown.
