A Peterhead couple celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary recently marking 60 years together.
Ivan and Peggy Keith of the town’s Forrest Road, reached their fantastic milestone on Thursday, February 5.
The couple first met at a dance in Ardallie and it was love at first sight.
Ivan, who is originally from Clola, and Peggy, of Foveran, were subsequently married at the Station Buffet in Ellon surrounded by family and friends.
Ivan and Peggy have two children, daughter Margaret and son David.
The couple moved to Peterhead 37 years ago and during this time they have welcomed four grandchildren into the family (Michael, Denise, Scott and Janice) and four great-grandchildren (Sean, Niamh, Finn and Grace).
Speaking to the Buchanie about their special milestone, the couple said: “We are very lucky. We have had a good life.”
To celebrate their anniversary, Ivan and Peggy enjoyed a meal at the Buchan Hotel in Ellon with their elderly relatives.
They have also planned a celebratory two-night stay at The Priory Hotel in Beauly with the whole family at the end of March.
