REHEARSALS are well underway for this year’s Cruden Bay Panto - oh yes they are!

This year’s pantomime is Aladdin - but it’s an Aladdin with a local twist.

Writing the script for this year’s show is panto stalwart Gordon Bain, and he is providing a very different slant to this well-known panto tale.

Fiona Abbenheimer of Cruden Bay Panto Group told the Buchanie: “This year’s pantomime is a real community effort.

“Local businesses are helping with publicity, ticket sales and costumes while the local WRI will be providing the interval refreshments at each performance.

“Group members range in age from seven to 60-plus, so it’s been a great way to get the community working together.”

This year’s show will run on Wednesday, December 5, Thursday 6 and Friday 7 at 7.30pm each evening. There will also be a performance on the Saturday, December 8, at 6.30pm. Tickets are priced £6 and £3 concession will be available from the Post Office in early November. We take block bookings and also have full disabled access and facilities.
