Cruden Bay gala success

HUNDREDS of folk headed to Port Erroll Harbour at Cruden Bay recently to enjoy some gala fun.

The weather was superb for the fun-filled day which had something for all ages.

As well as the usual stalls, there was a sandcastle competition, entertainment from Peterhead Rock School students, and the chance to get fit with Zumba and belly-dancing.

Organisers said the event had been extremely popular, the gala being the first of a week-long programme of events in Cruden Bay, which ended with the spectacular burning of a Viking longship on Saturday night.
