VANDALS have struck at Peterhead’s Buchanhaven School for the second time this month.
Some time between Friday, April 29 and Sunday, May 1, damage was caused to part of the Hope Street school which it is believed will cost a four-figure sum to repair.
Accoridng to Grampian Police, a number of youths were understood to be present at the school at the time of the incident.
Constable Mark Green said: “This kind of mindless vandalism costs the public a lot of money, time and upset.
“Grampian Police consider preventing and detecting these types of incidents a priority, dedicating officers to tackle such crimes.
“I urge anyone with information relating to this crime to contact and help us bring those responsible to account.”
