Toon police wish to return stolen property to public

Victims of theft in Peterhead are being urged to contact Police Scotland so that they may be reunited with their belongings.

Following a number of housebreaking incidents in the Peterhead area, which resulted in a 27-year-old man being charged, Police Scotland are seeking to return stolen items to their owners.

While many victims have been reunited with their belongings, there are still electrical items, jewellery and personal items in Police possession.

Police are urging anyone in the Peterhead area who may have lost belongings, or feel they have recently been the victim of theft, to contact Police Scotland on 101.
