Siblings back in court on conspiring to murder charge

TWO Peterhead siblings have appeared in court charged with conspiring to murder a North-east man.

Brother and sister Christopher (17), and Natalie Hollinsworth (21), made no plea or declaration when they appeared in private at a brief hearing at Peterhead Sheriff Court last week.

Their mother, Sharon Hollinsworth, has already appeared before the court charged with the murder of Andrew Oates.

Mr Oates’ body was found on Sunday, October 24 at a house in the town’s Fairwinds Place. Christopher and Natalie were both released on bail.

Sharon Hollinsworth last appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on November 2 and was freed on bail.

She also faced allegations that she attempted to defeat the ends of justice between Friday, October 22, and Sunday, October 24.

Natalie Hollinsworth had also appeared in court on November 2.

She faced a single charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice and was allowed bail.

It is understood she and her brother were arrested on Monday to face the fresh charges.
