Series of housebreakings in Banff and Macduff

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following a series of housebreakings and attempted housebreakings in the Banff and Macduff areas yesterday (Saturday).

The incidents occurred during the early hours of the morning.

Banff Swimming Pool, the RNLI Shop in Bankhead, Macduff and the Inshore Fishmongers in Bankhead, Macduff were all broken into.

Attempts to break in were also carried out at Scotmid in Duff Street, Macduff, The Red Cross Charity Shop, Duff Street, Cats Protection Charity Shop also in Duff Street, The Crown Chip Shop in Lusylaw Road, Banff, Scotmid Morning Noon and Night, Lusylaw Road, Banff Pets Care in Low Street, Banff and Wrex’s Kitchen in Duncan Street, Banff.

The value of the damage caused is still to be established.
