Police appeal after thefts in North East

Police have appealed for witnesses following a number of thefts, theft by housebreaking and attempted theft in the Fraserburgh and Mintlaw areas.

The incidents all happened between Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 March in the Buchan Road area of Fraserburgh and Longside Road and Baluss Place areas of Mintlaw.

A number of personal items including a quad bike and golf clubs have been stolen.

Detective Constable Richard Cooper said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact police as soon as possible on 101.

"We would also remind residents to make sure their windows and doors are locked at all times even when they are at home and to report anything suspicious to police. In an emergency always dial 999."
