A 35-year-old man has been charged in relation to the fire on board a boat at Peterhead Harbour on November 19 Police Scotland has confirmed.

The Tranquility was docked at the harbour’s sea gate when it caught ablaze, with fire crews being called to the scene at 10.25pm on Thursday.

The man is expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday November 23.
