Officers in Peterhead are continuing with increased patrols of the town centre in the run up to Christmas to ensure people enjoy a safe environment.
Increased patrols have been carried out throughout December to prevent anti-social behaviour and retail theft within the town.
Sergeant Scott Massie from the Buchan Community Policing Team said: "As the town becomes busier with shoppers and people enjoying nights out the closer we get to Christmas we want to ensure Peterhead remains a safe and welcoming place.
"This is also a good time for us to remind the public to take precautions with your property by not leaving it unattended for opportunistic thieves. We'll be continuing with our patrols over the festive period and would welcome the public speaking to us and raising any concerns you may have."
