Cocaine worth £2,500 found in Peterhead

A 22-year-old man has been charged after cocaine with an approximate street value of £2,500 was recovered in Peterhead.

Police Scotland have confirmed that the drugs were found on Tuesday December 1 as part of operation Banook.

The man appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Operation Banook is an ongoing operation targeting drugs activity in the North East of Scotland.
