Two people appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Friday, September 20, following the recovery of a mid four-figure sum of Class A drugs in Boddam.
Officers from the Fraserburgh Proactive Unit and Buchan Community Policing Team in Peterhead executed a drug search warrant in Boddam on Thursday, September 19, and recovered a quantity of heroin.
Two people, a 28 year-old man and a 20 year-old woman were reported to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.Constable Ross Strachan said: “The support we receive from members of the community is vital to us and this successful operation is thanks to information we receive about drug dealing activities.
“I want to encourage people to continue to call us when you suspect people may be dealing or abusing drugs. The recovery of a large quantityof Class A drugs is just one example of what we can do when we work together.”
