The Manchester music scene will come to Fraserburgh this summer as The Complete Stone Roses and The Happy Monday’s Bez hit the Broch.

The Complete Stone Roses, considered by many as the best Stone Roses cover band in the world, will be followed by a DJ set from The Happy Monday’s maracas man Bez.

Supporting the two acts at the gig at Fraserburgh Leisure Centre on May 28 is fellow tribute act Definitely Oasis, rock outfit Proud Mary and Broch artist Hammy.

Definitely Oasis will be returning to the North East for the third time after playing 2 sold out gigs at Peterhead Football Club over the last 2 years.

Proud Mary’s Paul Newsome will be taking the same band that supported Noel Gallagher on tour last year up to Fraserburgh with him.

Proud Mary played a sold out show in Peterhead back in 2014 and they have also played at the Wizard Festival.

Bez is the legendary dancer from the Happy Mondays. He will be taking to the decks to finish the evening off with a Happy Mondays / Madchester Dj set.

This will be Bez’s second time back up North East, he played to a full house in Nemesis Nightclub back in 2013.

This event is being run by Peterhead company Flowtation Music Ltd.

Tickets are on sale now at the Leisure Centre and Motor Parts in Fraserburgh and Martins Barbers on Broad Street in Peterhead for £20 each.

They are also available on www.skiddle.com for £20 plus booking fee.
